Cithern, Citole, Cittern, Gittern, Cither

The cittern or cithern ( cithern , citole, cittern, gittern, cither) is a stringed instrument dating from the Renaissance. Cutting edge researchers banter about its careful history, yet it is by and large acknowledged that it is dropped from the Medieval citole, or cytole. It looks much like the cutting edge level back mandolin and the current Irish bouzouki. Its level back configuration was more straightforward and less expensive to develop than the lute. It was additionally less demanding to play, littler, not so much sensitive but rather more versatile. Played by all classes, the cittern was a head instrument of easygoing music-production much similar to the guitar today.
