Hawaiian guitar


Electric lap steel guitars, which incorporate the first financially effective strong body instruments. These were initially advertised as electric Hawaiian guitars. Notwithstanding the lap-played model, a firmly related adaptation called a console steel guitar is upheld on legs yet does exclude the pedals or knee levers of the pedal steel guitar. Electric lap steels commonly have six to ten strings.
